Who is Mono?

That would be me. I was born in the 80s, grew up with a lot of music from the 80s and 90s and never grew tired of discovering new music.

My name really is Mono. That said: I still have two healthy ears to listen to music with. While I also like to make music, I am way better with words than with doing that, so most of my output these days is poetry, short stories or lyrics for songs of other people. Because this page is not about that though I will most likely not share much of that.

What is this page?

This is a website about music that I feel I need to say something about. It's not a comprehensive listening guide, not bound to any genre and not methodically consistent. The only thing I want to be consistent with is to provice a human's perspective on the music I talk about.

Do you use AI on this page?

Nope. I brainstormed about this page with a girlfriend of mine and asked an AI about the idea, but threw most of it's advice overboard. I don't use AI to bring you this content but I can't guarantee that the music I listen to is free of that, even if I would prefer that.

You can be certain though that every word you read here was dreamed up by me - Mono - a human. It's a page about music and the emotions it tickles out of me (or you).
